Certain settings on the appliance can
only be selected in settings mode.
When in settings mode, the door
alarm and other fault messages are
automatically deactivated although
the alarm symbol  appears in the
display.
Available settings
Activating or deactivating the

safety lock

 Switching ice cube maker on
and off (setting the water vol‐
ume; rinsing the ice cube mak‐
er; adjusting the cleaning set‐
ting for the ice cube tray)
Switching audible tones on/off
Altering the display brightness
Adjusting the temperature in the
PerfectFresh Pro zone
Switching Sabbath mode on/off
The settings available for the ice cube
maker are described in "Making ice
cubes" and "Cleaning and care".
Adjusting the temperature in the
PerfectFresh Pro zone is described in
"The correct temperature".
The other further settings are described
in more detail below.

Selecting further settings

Safety lock 
The safety lock can be activated to pre‐
vent:
– the appliance being switched off by
mistake,
– the temperature being changed by
mistake,
– the Super cool or Super freeze func‐
tions being selected inadvertently,
– settings being adjusted by mistake (it
is only possible to deactivate the
lock).
This prevents the appliance being
switched off or settings adjusted with‐
out your knowledge, by children, for ex‐
ample.
Activating or deactivating the safety
lock
 Touch the settings sensor.
All symbols available for selection will
appear in the display and the  symbol
flashes.
 Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
The last selected setting flashes and
the  symbol lights up in the display.
