Preparing SxS Memory
Cards

Inserting SxS memory cards

You can insert or remove SxS memory
cards regardless of whether the unit is
turned on or off.
To insert the card

Slide the card slot cover up.

Insert the SxS memory card into the
card slot.

Close the card slot cover.
To remove the card
Note
Removing an SxS memory card while copying is
in progress may damage data stored on the SxS
memory card. Always make sure copy operations
are complete before removing the card.

Slide the card slot cover up.

Press the card eject button twice.
The lock is released, and the SxS
memory card ejects partially.

Remove the SxS memory card.

Close the card slot cover.
Connecting to a PHU-60K or
PHU-120K
By inserting the PHU connection cable into
the card slot instead of an SxS memory
card, you can connect this unit to a
PHU-60K or PHU-120K Professional Hard
Disk Unit, and copy data from the
PHU-60K or PHU-120K onto the HDD
cartridge.
