Inserting/Removing the Voltage Adapter
(see figure E)

Select the voltage adapter that matches the rat-
ed voltage of your power tool.
The voltage adapters may be differentiated, de-
pending on the voltage, by the color of the hous-
ing of the D-sub connector 16. The housing of
the D-sub connector for a voltage of 9.6 V is light
blue in color, and that for a voltage of 12 V is red
in color.
The adapter housing 18 may be mounted in
or dismounted from the industrial battery-
operated screwdriver only when the con-
stant voltage regulator is switched off or
when the connector 16 is disconnected
from the constant voltage regulator.
Move the rotational direction switch 3 to the
center position. This action locks the on/off trig-
ger switch 6 in the "off" position, which pre-
vents the tool from running. Insert the adapter
housing 18 into the handle of the power tool. In-
sure that the adapter housing is in the correct
position and that the locking buttons 4 engage
securely into the handle of the power tool.
Subsequently, plug the connector 16 of the volt-
age adapter 15 that matches your power tool in-
to the connection socket. Screw the connector
16 tightly in the connection socket 15 by tight-
ening the two screws 17 by hand.
To remove the voltage adapter, loosen the two
screws 17 on the connector 16 of the switched
off constant voltage regulator and and pull the
connector out of the connection socket 15. Sub-
sequently, squeeze the locking buttons 4 on
both sides and pull the adapter housing 18 out
of the hande of the power tool.

These industrial cordless screwdrivers cannot
be operated with constant voltage regulator.

Changing Application Tools on the Head
with Quick-change Chuck (see figure F)
When working with an application tool, pay
attention that the application tool is firmly
seated on the tool holder. When the applica-
tion tool is not firmly connected with the tool
holder, it can come loose again and not be
controlled.
Inserting
Pull the quick-change chuck 19 to the front. In-
sert the tool 9 into the tool holder 8 and release
the quick-change chuck.
Use only insertion tools with fitting end pieces
(1/4" hexagonal).
Do not attempt to insert quick-change type drill
bits into this chuck. Centre grip screwdriver
equipped with shut-of clutches are not designed
for drilling applications. The chlutch can shut-off
automatically and without warning. Attempting
to restart drilling after shut-off has been
reached can cause the power tool to twist out of
your hand until the clutch again reaches shut-
off.
Removing
Pull the quick-change chuck 19 to the front.
Take the tool 9 out of the tool holder 8 and re-
lease the quick-change chuck.
Operation
Use safety equipment. Always wear
eye protection. Safety equipment
such as dusk mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protec-
tion used for appropriate conditions
will reduce personal injuries.

Starting Operation

When starting the power tool, you should first
select the direction of rotation with the rotation-
al direction switch 3 since the power tool starts
only when the rotational direction switch 3 is
not in the middle position (switch-on lock).
