Print Commands

The TM-U590/U590P supports the following commands for printing characters and advancing
paper.

LF prints the data in the print buffer and feeds one line. The amount of paper fed per line is based on
the value set using the line spacing command. The default setting is 1/6 inch.

When auto line feed is enabled, CR functions in the same way as LF. When auto line feed is disabled,
CR prints the data in the print buffer and does not feed the paper. With a serial interface, auto line
feed is disabled. With a parallel interface, whether enabling or disabling the auto line feed can be
selected by DIP switch 1-1.
