    Getting started Installation preparation If you subscribe to high-speed Internet service (digital subscriber line - DSL) through your telephone lines, you must install a DSL filter between the telephone line cord and the telephone wall jack. The filter prevents noise and caller ID problems caused by DSL interference.

    The remote dial pad does not work with an AT&T Marathon cordless headset system that is connected to a telephone that is part of a digital business system, unless there is an analog adapter on the line.

Make sure the LIFTER AUDIO ADJUST setting is correct (see page 12).
