Care and cleaning

In this chapter you will find tips and information on
optimal care and cleaning of your appliance.

Cleaning appliance

Note: The appliance surface and control elements
can be scratched easily. You can order appropriate
cleaning agents or care products for your device
using the hotline or the online shop. Bear in mind the
warranty conditions in the enclosed service booklet
and the following cleaning information:
Clean the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and
dishwashing liquid or a mild window cleaner.
Moisten dried-on grime with a damp cloth. Don't
scratch!
Only clean stainless steel surfaces in the
direction of the polish lines.
Don't use stainless steel cleaner for control
elements.
Inserting and removing metal
grease filters
Remove ventilation grille.

Turn both retaining wires upward and remove the

grease filter from the appliance.
The filter is inserted in reverse order.

Cleaning metal grease filters

The metal grease filters used collect the greasy
content of the cooking fumes. With normal use (1 to 2
hours a day), clean the metal grease filters about
every three months.
Notes
Don't use any harsh, acidic or caustic cleaning
agents.
You can clean the metal grease filters in the
dishwasher or by hand.
In the dishwasher:
Note: Should you wash them in the dishwasher, slight
discolorations may occur. This does not impair the
functionality of the metal grease filter.
Do not wash very dirty metal grease filters
together with dishes.
Place the metal grease filters loosely in the
dishwasher. They must not become stuck.
