The stainless steel hose supplied is 1.5
m long and must not be lengthened.
A faulty stainless steel hose must
only be replaced by a genuine Miele
replacement hose (available from
Miele). Make sure that the water
hose is suitable for food use.
A stopcock must be provided between
the stainless steel hose and the
household water supply to ensure that
the water supply can be cut off if
necessary.
The stopcock should be easily
accessible after the appliance has
been built in.

Before making plumbing
connections, ensure the appliance
is disconnected from the mains
electricity supply.
Connection to the mains water supply
should incorporate a mains stopcock

^ Connect the stainless steel hose to
the stopcock.
^ Ensure that it is screwed into position
correctly.
Before using the appliance for the first
time the water inlet pipe should be
purged of air by a qualified and
competent person.
– To do so the stainless steel hose
should be filled as far as possible
with water before being connected to
the solenoid valve.
– Mop up any spillages with a cloth.
