QUICK BYPASS by ZONE/GROUP
Quick Bypassing is a programmable
option (question #23, location 3) and allows the user to bypass zones and points
'without using a user code,
If QUICK BYPASS is enabled (question W8, Iocstion 3) and ZONE BYPASS is enabled (question #17-24, location

3), then
TO BYPASS
by ZONE;
Press the BYPASS key followed by a single digit number (I*),
representing
the respecbve zone to be bypassed.

If QUICK BYPASS is enabled (question #08, Iocstion 3), ZONE BYPASS is enabled (question #17-24, Iocstimr 3)
and BYPASS BY GROUP ie enabled (question #09, location 1), then

Press the BYPASS key followed by the # key, representing the respective

group of zones to
e bypassed.

NOTE: Bypassing a GROUP will only remove the individual zones enabled for group bypassing.
Afier a successful bypass the keypad sounder will emit the acknowledge beep, and the respective zone LED will WINK
SLOWLY.
In addition the following rules for bypass exist
FIRE zones @nnot be bypassed
24 hour zones Hn be bypassed, however they CANNOT be unbypassed if they are violated.
Zones can only be bypassed while the system is di~rmed,
at which time visual indication will be displsyed.
Bypass signals will be transmitted to the Central Station UPON ARMING if a bypass We
has been programmed.

NOTE Zones which are bypassed are not protected when the system is armed,

AUTO UNBYPASS
All burg[ary zones which are bypassed can be automatically unbypassed upon system disarm, 24 hour zones which have

been bypassed will be unbypassed only if they are normal. The auto unbypass feature is aWays enabled.

MANUAL UN BYPASS
UNBYPASS
removes an existing bypass from a currently bypassed zone or group. The procedure
is the same as
bypass.
KEYPAD TAMPEWLOCKOU~
Upon entry of 21 keystroke
in succession
without entry of a valid command,
the eystem will initiste a keypsd tamper/Lockout
condition.
This will be s silent
condition
and if an alarm an
occurs, there will be no indication on the keypad. [n addition, a code csn be programmed
for transmission
to
the Centrsl Station (see question =5,
Iocatione 3 & 4).
