Problem
A noise can be heard
after the appliance is
switched off.
 and numbers are
flashing in the cooking
zone displays and a
tone sounds.

Possible cause and remedy
The fan will continue running until the appliance has
cooled down. It will then switch itself off
automatically.
The cooktop is incorrectly connected.
 Contact Miele or a qualified electrician. The
cooktop must be connected to the mains
according to the wiring diagram.
The overheating protection mechanism has been
activated.
 See "Overheating protection".

There is an electronic unit fault.
 Interrupt the power supply to the cooktop for
approx. 1 minute.
 If the problem persists after power is restored,
please contact Miele.
