Setting the temperature alarm
You can decide if you want the alarm to warn you when the temperature
reaches a certain level. You can set two alarms at the same time – one for the
receiver and one for a sensor.
Indoor temperature alarm (receiver unit)
1. Press the Mode button repeatedly to
get to the indoor temperature alarm
setting mode.
2. The preset value 14˚C or the latest
setting will flash.
3. Press Hour or Minute to set desired
temperature for when the alarm should
sound.
4. Press Alarm repeatedly to switch
between temperature alarms for high
respective low temperature and also to
activate the alarm.
5. Press Mode to confirm the setting.
Outdoor temperature alarm (sensor)
1. Press the Mode button repeatedly to
get to the outdoor temperature alarm
setting mode.
2. Press Channel to select a sensor.
3. The preset value 14˚C or the latest
setting will flash.
4. Press Hour or Minute to set desired
temperature for when the alarm should
sound.
5. Press Alarm repeatedly to switch
between temperature alarms for high
respective low temperature and also to
activate the alarm.
6. Press Mode to confirm the setting.
When the temperature alarm sounds:
• Press any button to shut the alarm off. If you do not push any button the
alarm will shut off automatically after one minute.
• The alarm will sound when the temperature has reached the chosen value.
• The signal from the temperature alarm sounds different to the signal from
alarm 1 and alarm 2 (the timed alarms).
Weather forecast
• This weather station can detect changes in the air pressure and thus
forecast the next 12-24 hours' weather in a 30-50 km radius of the receiver.
• When the weather station is installed you can ignore it's forecasts for the
first 12-24 hours as it needs some time to adjust to a new location before
providing reliable forecasts.
• Absolute precision cannot be guaranteed. The weather forecast function
has an accuracy of about 75%, due to the fact that it is designed to be
used in many different types of area.
• If the weather station is moved to a location with a significant difference
in the height above sea level, the batteries should be removed and then
replaced again after about 30 seconds. By doing this the weather station is
not fooled into detecting the difference in pressure and providing an incor-
rect forecast. Again, you should ignore the forecasts for the first 24 hours.

External temperature sensor

The sensor is equipped with a socket
for connecting the supplied external
temperature sensor.
1. Connect the external weather probe to the
sensor.
2. When the weather probe is connected, the
following appears on the display:
• Temperature at the probe.
• Humidity at the sensor.
• The "OUT" symbol appears on the sensor.
Batteries
If the batteries are exposed to very low or very high temperatures for a long
time, they can lose their power thus reducing the range between the sensor
and the receiver.
Receiver
1. If the low battery symbol appears on the display beneath the indoor
temperature trend square, it is time to change the receiver battery. When
the battery is low the following can happen:
• The display dies.
• The range between the sensor and receiver is
reduced.
• Data from the sensor is lost.
2. You will need 2 LR6 batteries for the sensor.
NOTE! When you replace the receiver batteries all data
is lost.
Sensor
3. If the low battery symbol appears on the sensor's
display, it is time to replace the battery.
4. The low battery symbol also appears beneath the
outdoor temperature trend square on the receiver.
5. You will need 2 LR6 batteries for the sensor.
