The car radio may be connected to a
mobile or radio telephone.
Wile these accessories are being used the
volume is adjusted to the level recorded
in the PROG-System. Toner, fader and bal-
ance may be adjusted in this mode. Any
altered values are recorded in the mem-
ory. See "PROG-System" chapter (muting
the radio). The display will read "PHONE".

While these accessories are being used
the radio remains silent. "PHONE"
appears on the display.

The radio is fitted with the PROG system
to make operating easier. This can be
used to make a series of adjustments that
only need to be done once or in certain
circumstances.

This radio is designed in the factory to
give a short confirmation beep when cer-
tain keys are pressed.
The "PROG-System" chapter explains how
to switch off this beep using the "BEEP"
(beep off) function.
Instead of a beep the loudspeakers will go
silent for a moment when you press these
keys.
