Convergence Adjustment
For convergence adjustment, use Green as the reference standard. Align Red and B)ue with Green by adjusting
the position and angte of the Red and Biue LCD panefs. Screws "A". "B", "C" (Fig.6,7) are for convergence adjust-
ment.
^Before adjustment]
- Make sure each Red, Green and Biue LCD panei unit has been correctty instated, and that aii focus adjustments
have been completed before performing convergence adjustments.
Image Movement and Screw Timing
1. Adjustment screw "A" turns the image.
2. Adjustment screw "B" moves the image right and left.
3. Adjustment screw "C" moves the fmage up and down
(Fig.6).
Red (or Blue) Panel convergence Adjustment
1. input Y&i!ow (or Cyan) cotorgrid signal.
2. Loosen the 2 screws' D ' (Hg. 6 ) using the 5.5mm spanner
wrench.
3. Turn the tines of convergence to be paratte) to Grean grid pattern
by adjusting screw 'A'. F)G.3
4. Move the tines of convergence horizontaityto be matched with
Green grid pattern by adjusting screw' B ' . FiG.4
5- Adjust the [inea to be comp)ete)y matched with Green grid pattern
by taMng step 3 and 4.
6. Move the i!nes of convergence vertical to ba matched with
Green grid pattern by adjusting screw' C ' . FiG.5
7. Adjust the iines to be completely matched with Green grid pattern
by taMng step 3 and 6.
8. Tighten the 2 screws' D ' (previousty toosened !n step 2 above)
with the 5.5mm spanner wrench.
9.AfEar tightening the screws, cheok convergence. )f not afigned,
repeat steps 2 through 8 above.
