As
you
play the
keyboard,
the Part will
respond

only
the
performance
data
falling
within the
key
range.

position

it
is
not affected
by
the
transpose
settings
or the
pitch that
sounds.
Therefore, the
keyboard
is
monitored as
to
whether
the keys
pressed
fall
within
the specified
range
or
not,
regardless
of
the actual
pitch
they produce.

This determines
the
amount
that
the
internal
zone of each
Part
transposes the note
number
data, relative to
the notes
actually
played
on
the
keyboard,
for
sounding
the Patch.
