This determines
how
the
keyboard
uses
the
performance
data.
Use
of
the
performance
data
Data
transmitted
by
MIDI
LAYER
The
settings of

key range
of
the
internal/transmit
zone
become
invalid;
all
keyboard performance
data
is
sent
to
the
eight
Parts
and
via
MIDI
OUT.

Program change
messages
are not
transmitted
even
when
the Patch
is
changed.

When
the
Performance
Is
changed,
program change
data,
as
well
as
volume
data
and pan
data,
which
are
set
in
the transmit zone, are
transmitted.
ZONE
The
performance
data
within
the
key
range
set
in
the internalAranmit
zone
is
sent
to
the
eight
Parts
and
via
MIDI
OUT.
SINGLE
The
settings of
the internalAransmit
zone
are
ignored,
and
only the Part
at
the cursor
position
can be
controlled.
Playing the
keyboard
sounds
the Patch
of
the Part
at
the cursor
position.

receiving
channel
numbers
which
are
assigned
to
the Parts are
also
used
for
the transmission
channels.

When
the
Patch
is
changed, bank
select
and program change
messages, which
correspond
to
the
Patch
number,
are
transmitted.

Performance
is
changed,
bank
select
and program change
messages, which
correspond
to
the
Patch
number
that
is
assigned
to
the
Part,
are
transmitted.
