Samba Server; Network Sharing (Samba Client) - Cocktail Audio X30 Manual

5-5-1 Samba Server

If you would like to see the folders on the X30 hard disk through your network connected PC you
can set up the following:
① Select Samba Server and confirm with the OK key. Set Samba Server as ON, see below
② Select Samba Server and confirm with the OK button.
③ Select Host Name and Workgroup.
④ Enter host name and workgroup name and select OK and confirm with the OK button.
※ How to see the folders of the X30 hard disk on your PC screen (based on Window 7 )
① Click the „START‟ icon on the left/bottom on your monitor.
② Select „Computer‟ and click it.
③ You may see „Network‟
④ Click „Network‟, then you may see all servers (The X30 default host name is X30) connected to
local network.
⑤ Select „X30‟ and click it.
⑥ You may see the two folders, LocalStorages and MusicDB.
※ WARNING : You must NOT access to the MusicDB folder related to database. If you delete
or edit something inside of the folder, it will make MusicDB serious trouble.

5-5-2 Network Sharing (Samba Client)

You can connect the X30 and the storage devices in the same network. If you want to stream the
file in remote devices and play it with the X30, you need to do „network sharing‟ first as below.
