INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Optimum listening quality is obtained when the following recommendations have
been obseryed step by step.
I EachJadis ampliher unit is packed with is ou'n tested tubes. At the unpacking, be
carefull not to mix up the valves and set them imnrediate)y on their correspondant
unit.
2- Place your Jadis amplilier on a flat, solid surface.
Because your Jadis is an amplifier with tubes, provide an op€n space to enable a
correct evacuation of the heat in a natural convection cooling. Do not fan cool your
Jadis amp. an air current can create microcracks in the tubes.

3- Avoid placing the unit directly on carpet or on flammable material. Avoid placing
components on top of amplifier to insure adequate ventilation.
-Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the one of your Jadis amplifier.

4- The connection of your Jadis amplifier to any type of preamplifier is possible,
I
except if the output impedance is abnormally high (superior to 500k).
- Always tum on your preamplifier before tuming on the amplifier'Reverse the
procedure on tum off your amplifier.
Speaker cables must always be connected before tuming on the amplifier'
Should you wish to change the speaker cables or interconnects, first tum OFF the

amplifier and allow about 45 seconds for discharge.

- Always use the ON/OFF switch. Ncver unplug the mains cable lo tum off your
I
amplifier.
5- Allow 5 to 10 minutes betwen the
"stand-by" and "operate" modes, when this
possibility is offered.
- To insure long term reliability the ON/OFF power switches must be operated
SWIFTLY.
- Do not move vour amnlifier when tubes are hot.
