External view of the transmitter
1 Retractable 7 section aerial.
Only use the aerial fully extended.
2 Voltmeter and battery condition
Sufficient power for flight control is available as
long as the pointer of the voltage indicator
remains in the light area. If it moves into the
red area the flight must be ended as soon as
possible (a safe landing is still possible);
launching again is prohibited. The batteries are
too weak and have to be exchanged with new
ones.
3 Left steering stick
4 Right steering stick
If released, the steering stick on the transmitter
returns back into the neutral (central) position
by a spring action. The throttle stick is the
opposite: it remains in the adjusted position by
a ratchet setting.
5 ON/OFF Switch
Never switch on your transmitter without checking
that no other model in your vicinity is using the
same frequency (same channel). This could cause
an accident!
6-9 Trim tabs channel 1-4
This device enables you to trim the controls, obtain
true neutral settings and to adjust individual
performance characteristics of your model. The
trim tabs are on a ratchet which means that you
are able to make fine adjustments and corrections.
10 Crystal (changeable)
If your current frequency channel is in use by other
modellers, the radio control unit can be changed to
another frequency by replacing the transmitter and
receiver crystals. Both crystals must be changed
for a matching pair.
