Cleaning the Carriage and Food Grip

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
1.
Lift the food grip from the cradle.
2.
Tilt the cradle away from the appliance [Fig. 1].
3.
Wash with warm soapy water.
4.
Dry thoroughly.
5.
Cleaning / Changing the Blade
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
1.
Push the carriage away from the blade.
2.
Unscrew and remove the centre plastic cap securing the blade.
3.
Carefully lift the blade from the appliance.
4.
Wash the blade by wiping from the centre towards the edge.
5.
Dry thoroughly.
6.
Replace the blade, ensuring the centre plastic cap is securely tightened.
7.
Note: BUFFALO recommend the use of cut-resistant or wire mesh gloves when cleaning the
blade.

Cleaning Behind the Blade

With the blade removed use a slightly damp cloth to clean the area behind the blade.
Dry thoroughly before replacing the blade.
