Battery charging & recharging
WARNING: if the battery is damaged in any way do not attempt to charge it and
replace it immediately.
Before use check the power supply and charger cables for signs of damage or ageing.
A damaged charger cable can increase risk of fire or electric shock.
Charge the battery for 16 hours before first use.
1 Switch off the unit before charging. The unit will not charge when switched on. Connect the
supplied battery charger into the charging socket located below the power button.
2 Plug the charger into a suitable electrical socket and switch on. The LED charging indicator
will light RED when the charger is connected and the battery is charging.

The LED does not turn off, flash, or change colour when the battery is fully
charged. Charge the battery for 12 hours after use to ensure a full charge.
3 Charge the unit for at least 12 hours. Do not charge the product for longer
than 24 hours.
4 Once the battery is fully charged switch off the electrical socket and unplug the charger
from the socket. Do not pull the charger cord, grasp the charger and pull to disconnect
from the socket.
WARNING: do not pull the charger by the cord.
WARNING: Only use the charger provided with the product. Using another charger may
damage the product and battery.
WARNING: Never run the battery empty and then put the product away without switching it
off - deep discharge can damage the battery.
Do not attempt to use the charger with any other product nor attempt to charge this
product with any other charger as this will invalidate your guarantee.
To maintain peak performance of your vacuum, it is recommended that the unit be
fully discharged, then completely recharged at least once a month.
