    Assembly 1 Push the 3 metal tubes together. Ensure the upper tube with the small clip fitting (C) is at the top, (B) is in the middle and (A) is at the bottom. Press upper the tubes against a non-marking floor to ensure handle they are fully together.

    Battery charging & recharging WARNING: if the battery is damaged in any way do not attempt to charge it and replace it immediately. Before use check the power supply and charger cables for signs of damage or ageing. A damaged charger cable can increase risk of fire or electric shock. Charge the battery for 16 hours before first use.

    Using the vacuum 1 To release the unit from the upright parked position lightly press on the front of the V-head with your foot and pull back on the handle. 2 To start the unit press and release the power button. 3 For extra control when cleaning the head can be steered from side to side.

    Cleaning with the unique V-head WARNING: this unit is designed for dry vacuuming use only. Do not use to pick up liquids or on wet surfaces. Do not pick up anything that is flammable, burning or smoking. 1 To release the unit from the upright parked position lightly press on the front of the V-head with your foot and pull back on the handle.(see opposite) 2 To start the unit press and release the power button.
  • Page 10 Removing and emptying the dust bin To maintain optimum performance the dust bin should be emptied regularly. It is recommended to empty the dust bin after every use, and it should always be emptied when full. 1 Turn off the unit. Press the dust bin release button and remove the dust bin. 2 Hold the dust bin upright to avoid spilling dust, and pull the hinged filter cartridge open by using the tab at the side of the bin.
  • Page 11 Cleaning the dust bin and filters To ensure long and reliable service and to maintain optimum performance and suction power the filters should be cleaned regularly. CAUTION: do not turn the unit on while cleaning it. The filters can be quickly cleaned by tapping against the side of a waste bin to release dust trapped in the filters.
