10. HOW TO USE THE BOBBIN THREAD COUNTER
The machne detects the number of sttches. The preset value on the bobbn thread counter s subtracted n
accordance wth the number of sttches detected. (Subtracton s made accordng to the settng of functon
settng No. 7, bobbn thread count down unt.) When the value on the counter becomes a mnus value as "  →
0 → - ", the buzzer peeps three tmes to warn the operator that the tme to change the bobbn thread has come.

The table below gves the ntal settng values for
reference when the bobbn s wound wth thread
to the extent that the pnhole n the outsde of the
bobbin case is reached as shown in the figure given
above.

※ Actually, the bobbin thread counter is affected
by the material thickness and the sewing speed.
So, adjust the ntal value of the bobbn thread
counter n accordance wth the operatng condtons.

to return the value ndcated on bobbn thread
counter 2 to the ntal value (t has been facto-
ry-set to "0" at the tme of delvery).
The bobbin thread counter cannot be reset
during sewing. In this case, make the
thread trimmer actuate once.

When keeping pressing the switch, the change-
over speed s ncreased.
3) Once the initial value is specified properly, start
the sewng machne.
4) When a mnus value s shown on the counter and the
buzzer peeps three tmes, replace the bobbn thread.
5) After the bobbn thread has been properly re-
placed, press bobbn thread counter reset swtch
1 to return the value on the bobbn thread coun-
ter to the ntal value. Now, re-start the sewng
machne.
6) If the remanng amount of bobbn thread s ex-
cessve or the bobbn thread runs out before the
bobbn thread counter ndcates a mnus value,
adjust the ntal value approprately usng the "+"
or "-" swtch of bobbn thread adjustment swtch

If the remanng amount of bobbn thread s excessve
... Increase the ntal value usng the "+" swtch.
If the remaining amount of bobbin thread is insufficient
... Decrease the ntal value usng the "-" swtch.
1. Uneven performance may occur in
accordance with the winding way of
thread or the thickness of materials and
it is necessary to set the thread trimming
amount with some surplus.
2. If the bobbin thread counter is used
in combination with the bobbin thread
remaining amount detecting device, the
bobbin thread counter indicates the number
of detections of the bobbin thread remaining
amount detecting device.
So, be sure to use the device after carefully
reading the Instruction manual for the
bobbin thread remaining amount detecting
device.
