To replace the batteries:
1. Turn off power to the controller.
2. Make sure that the power chair is in drive mode.
3. Unplug the controller harness from the power base.
4. Remove the seat.
5. Lift off the shroud.
6. Unplug the battery connectors from the power base. See figure 22.
7. Remove the old batteries.
8. Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the batteries. See figures 23 and 24.
9. Connect the wiring harness to the new batteries.
WARNING! Make sure you tighten the fasteners so that the connections are secure.
10. Place the new batteries back into the battery tray.
11. Plug in the battery connectors.
12. Reinstall the shroud.
13. Reinstall the seat.
14. Reinstall the controller harness.
15. Charge the batteries.
