If the tachometer needle does not
point to zero, follow the procedure
below to reset the tachometer.
1. Press and hold the ADJUST but-
ton 1 and turn on the ignition
switch.
2. Hold the ADJUST button 1 for 3 –
5 seconds.
3. Release the ADJUST button 1.
Rap the ADJUST button twice.
NOTE: Reset procedure, from step 1
to step 3, should be performed within
10 seconds.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LIGHT

When the turn signals are being oper-
ated either to the right or to the left,
the indicator light will blink intermit-
tently.
NOTE: If a turn signal light is not
operating properly due to bulb fila-
ment or circuit failure, the indicator
light blinks more quickly to notify the
rider of the existence of a problem.

TACHOMETER 3
The tachometer indicates the engine
speed in revolutions per minute (r/min).
GEAR POSITION INDICATOR 4
The gear position indicator indicates
gear position. This indicator displays
"N" when the transmission is in neu-
tral.
NOTE: When the display indicates
"CHEC", the gear position indicator
does not indicate a number but indi-
cates "–".
NEUTRAL INDICATOR LIGHT "N"

The green light will come on when the
transmission is in neutral. The light
will go out when you shift into any
gear other than neutral.
SPEEDOMETER 6
The speedometer indicates the road
speed in kilometers per hour and/or
miles per hour.
NOTE:
Set the meter to odometer, then
press and hold the ADJUST but-
ton 1 for 2 seconds to switch
between km/h and mph.
Select km/h or mph, as appropri-
ate, to comply with traffic regula-
tions.
Check km/h and mph display after
adjusting the instrument panel dis-
play.
