Precautions with regard to setting up
WARNING
Installation work should only be carried out by a qualified technician.
• If the bracket is installed incorrectly, the display may fall and personal injury may result.
Make sure that all safety factors regarding strength of installation are observed.
• If the installation strength is insufficient, the display may fall and personal injury may result.
Do not install in places which are unable to bear loads.
• If the strength of the installation surface is insufficient, the display may fall and personal injury may result.
Do not disassemble or modify the wall-hanging bracket.
• Otherwise the unit may be dropped and become damaged, and personal injury may resuit.
CAUTION
Do not use any displays other than those given in the catalogue.

Do not install in places which are subject to humidity, dust, oil fumes, water vapour or excessive heat.
• These can have adverse effects on Plasma Display operation, and fire or electric shocks may result.
Do not install the Plasma Display face up, sideways or upside down.

More than two people are required to install and remove the display.
• If more than two people are not present, the display may be dropped, and personal injury may result.
Maintain a space of at least 100 mm (3

• The display has air outlet holes at the top and air intake holes at the bottom and rear. These holes must not be
covered, otherwise fire may result.
Install the display by taking only the steps which are specified in these instructions: Do not install it in any
other way.
• Otherwise the unit may be dropped and become damaged, and personal injury may resuit.
Install the mounting screws and power cable in such a way that they will not make contact with the inside
parts of the wall.
• Electric shocks may result from contact with any metal objects inside the wall.
When removing the display main unit, remove the wall-hanging brackets as well.
• Otherwise, bumping into the brackets, etc., may result in injury.
For installation, use the special-purpose constituent parts.
• Otherwise, the display may fall off the wall, and personal injury may result.

Requests regarding handling

1) If the unit is placed in direct sunlight or next to a stove, the light and heat may cause discoloration or deformation.
2) For cleaning, wipe the display using a soft dry cloth (made of cotton or flannel). If the unit is particularly dirty,
clean it using a cloth soaked with water to which a small amount of neutral detergent has been added, and then
wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use products such as solvents, thinner or household wax for cleaning, as they can
damage the surface coating. (If using a chemically-treated cloth, follow the instructions supplied with the cloth.)
3) Do not affix adhesive tape or stickers to the product. Doing so may dirty the surface of the wall-hanging bracket.
Do not allow long-term contact with rubber, vinyl products or the like. (Doing so will cause deterioration.)
