Predictive & Previous Usage
3 Use these functions to convert hiragana to kanji more quickly.

Word suggestions change as up to

Usage entry based on previous entries
^ Both functions are active by default (P.3-7 "Optional
Predictive Functions").
Small Kana (っ , ッ , etc.)
1 Enter a character and press k
Adding ゛or ゜
1 Enter a character and press q
^ For か (Ka), さ (Sa) and た (Ta) row characters, press q to
add/remove ゛. For は (Ha) row characters, press q once to
add ゛, twice to add ゜and three times to remove.
^ In single-byte katakana entry, ゛and ゜each count as
one character.
Line Break
1 Press D at the end of text
^ Insert line breaks in message text, Notepad, etc.
^ To insert line breaks in text, press p until = appears, then
press b.

1 Press A
Alphanumerics

In double or single-byte alphanumerics mode,
press a key until the assigned character appears
^ Alternatively, enter numbers in single-byte number mode.
Press k to toggle case.

Symbols, Pictograms & Emoticons
Symbols & Pictograms
Pictograms do not appear in e-mail or on incompatible handsets.
1 In double-byte entry mode, press q to open
Log/History (Log/History is available in some
entry modes; see P.21-10)
Recently used double-byte Symbols/Pictograms appear.
3 In single-byte entry mode, press q
2 Press M or N to toggle Symbol/Pictogram List(s)
3 Use G to select one and press b
^ Pictograms are double-byte even in single-byte entry mode.
4 Press i to exit list
