Signing on the cooktop

If you want to
– sign on your cooktop to Miele{home, you will need to
prepare the sign on process on the master unit first (see
Installation instructions - "Miele|home").
– sign on your cooktop to Con|ctivity, you will first need to
sign on the rangehood (see Installation instructions -
"Con|ctivity").
^ While the cooktop is switched off, touch the s and $
sensors at the same time until the indicator light for the
safety lock flashes.
After starting the programming function, P (programme) and
an S (status) will appear in the timer display. With cooktops
that have 3 cooking zones, an additional display appears at
the back left.
^ Touch the sensor selecting the front left cooking zone and
then touch the 1 on the numerical keypad (Set Programme
10).
^ Touch the sensor for selecting the front right cooking zone
and then touch the 2 on the numerical keypad (Set Status 2
= Signed on).
The signing-on process starts, and the number 2 flashes. The
signing on process will take a few minutes. The number 2 will
light up constantly when the process has been completed
successfully.
^ To save the setting, touch the s sensor until the displays
go out.
^ Proceed as described in the Installation instructions for
"Miele|home" and "Con|ctivity".
