Function:
This model with fitted digital high-performance
drive offers:
G Optional operation with AC power (Transformer
32 VA), Märklin Delta or Märklin Digital as
operating system.
G Automatic recognition of operating mode.
G 80 digital (of which a maximum of 5 Delta) addres-
ses can be set.
G Top speed and acceleration / braking delay can
be altered. Braking delay is only effective when
operated with Märklin Delta or Digital.
G 1 high-performance motor fitted to each locomotive;
it is controlled by the central drive electronics.
G Front and rear lighting, dependent on the travel-
ling direction, can be switched on and off in ope-
ration with Märklin Digital or with Delta-Control 4 f.
This lighting is permanently deactivated in ope-
ration with Delta-Control. Conversely, it is perma-
nently activated in operation with Delta-Station.
When operated with the Transformer 32 VA, the
lighting is activated depending on the voltage supply.

Fitted electronic noise generator, which replicates
G
the original operating sound of the two locomoti-
ves. Each locomotive contains a separate louds-
peaker for this purpose. The volume of the sound
replication can be adjusted separately for each
loudspeaker. These noise electronics are perma-
nently active in the operating modes alternating
current, Delta and Digital with the old Central-Unit
6020, provided that the voltage supply to the
track is higher than the minimum supply voltage
of the noise electronics. This operating sound
can be switched on and off using the function (f1)
in operation with the Control-Unit 6021.
G Fitted pickup shoe switching. Accordingly, the
engines always receive their supply voltage from
the front locomotive.
G Fitted multi-pole special coupling between the
carriages. This coupling is only used for this
model type and is not compatible with other
coupling systems.
