General Instructions
Read this instruction manual to become familiar with handling of the equipmentέ

It is recommended only to lend the equipment to people who have proven to

Always hand over the instruction manualέ
όirst users should ask the dealer for basic instructions to familiarize oneself

Children and young persons aged under 1κ years must not be allowed

to operate this equipmentέ Persons over the age of 1θ years may however
use the device for the purpose of being trained while under supervision of a
qualiied trainerέ

Intended use of the machine
This equipment is only intended for cutting grass, weeds, bushes, undergrowthέ

It should not be used for any other purpose such as edging or hedge cutting
as this may cause injuryέ
Personal protective equipment
The clothing worn should be functional and appropriate, iέeέ it should be tightά

itting but not cause hindranceέ Do not wear either jewelry or clothing which
could become entangled with bushes or shrubsέ
In order to avoid either headά, eyeά, handάor foot injuries as well as to protect

your hearing the following protective equipment and protective clothing must
be used during operationέ
Always wear a helmet where there is a risk of falling objectsέ The protective
●
helmet (1) is to be checked at regular intervals for damage and is to be replaced
at the latest after η yearsέ Use only approved protective helmetsέ
The visor (β) of the helmet (or alternatively goggles) protects the face from
●
lying debris and stonesέ During operation always wear goggles, or a visor to
prevent eye injuriesέ
Wear adequate noise protection equipment to avoid hearing impairment (ear
●
muffs (γ), ear plugs etcέ)έ
The work overalls (ζ) protect against lying stones and debrisέ
●
We strongly recommend that the user wears work overallsέ
ύloves (η) are part of the prescribed equipment and must always be worn
●
during operationέ
When using the equipment, always wear sturdy shoes (θ) with a nonάslip soleέ
●
This protects against injuries and ensures a good footingέ
Starting up the brushcutter
εake sure that there are no children or other people within a working range of

1η meters (ηί ft), also pay attention to any animals in the working vicinityέ
Before use always check the equipment is safe for operationμ

Check the security of the cutting tool, the throttle lever for easy action and
check for proper functioning of the throttle lever lockέ
Rotation of the cutting tool during idling speed is not allowedέ Check with your

dealer for adjustment if in doubtέ Check for clean and dry handles and test the
function of the startήstop switchέ
