3.1 Cleaning

Daily cleaning and maintenance will extend the lifetime of
both the machine and the attachment.
Clean the Hedge Trimmer with water when required.
Avoid high pressure cleaning of the snap couplings.
Wipe snap couplings clean with a cloth. (Picture 1)

3.2 Maintenance

Check all the bolts and tighten if required after a few
hours of operation, and one every season thereafter.
Lubricate blades and blade holders every two hours.

Lubricating nipples on all moveable parts must be re-filled
at least once every season. (Picture 3)
Defective blades must be replaced immediately. This
ensures effective trimming and reduces wear and tear on
the Hedge Trimmer.
Blade replacement must only be carried out by an
authorised Nilfisk Outdoor Division dealer
