UPGRADE
The AD8HR contains an internal flash memory. The software version can be upgraded from the HA REMOTE 1 terminal
by using dedicated software on a Windows PC.
A check is made for a system program in the flash memory when the power is turned on.
If the correct system program is found, then the start up runs as usual. If the flash memory contains no such program or
if there is a program error, then program boot mode is automatically triggered.

Connections
Connect a serial port on the PC to the HA REMOTE 1 terminal on the AD8HR with the D-SUB 9-pin serial cross-cable.
Select the PC/RS422 selector switch to the PC side.
The version upgrade program can also be loaded into 2 or more AD8HR units connected as shown below. However,
device numbers are determined as the order of HA REMOTE 1 terminals connected near PC.
(The software can accommodate up to 4 units.)

Software
When the need of version upgrade arises, prepare the following files (in common with AD824.)
Download either of the following update programs on the download site of YSISS home page.

(2.1) Starting up the software
Double-clicking the LoadAD824.exe icon starts up the program and a display as shown below appears. The COM terminal
of the PCs currently connected to the unit can be switched in the dialog box on the upper right.
(The figure below shows when COM1 is selected.)
When loading the program into 2 or more AD8HR units, the device numbers can be selected with the dialog box in the
upper center. (The figure shows that Dev1 (1st device) is selected.)
