ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Included in carton are items shown in
FIGURE D. The hex key provided is the only
tool you'll need to make all normal day{o-day
adjustments on this grinder. Wheel changes
and certain other adjustments will require an
-
adjustable wrench and other tools.
I WARNING
1, DO NOT ASSEMBLE WHEN GRINDER IS
PL U G G ED I N .
2. ALWAYS MAKE SURE SWITCH IS IN
THE "OFF'' POSITION.
3. ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE GRINDING
W H E EL I S S EC U R E.
4. BE SURE THAT ALL SCREWS HOLDING
THE END COVERS ARE TIGHT.
T EYE SHIELD/LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(See FIGURE E)
. 1. Remove from protective packaging and
carefully unwrap wiring
. 2. Remove hex head screws from bracket on
top of wheel guard.
3. Separate bracket and remove back plate.
4. Insert eye shield axle and align holes.
.
5. Reinsert back plate and hex head screws.
6. Tighten hex head screws. being careful not
to over-tighten.
NOTE: The eye shield must move freely, yet
stay in place once it is tightened.
7. Check to be sure screws holding brackets
to eye shields are tight and haven't loosened
during shipment.
B. Check and tighten the screws holding
shades to lamp sockets and the screws
holding lamp sockets to eye shields...these
too could loosen during shipment.
9. Check light bulb for looseness.
10. Be sure lamp cord rests between motor
housing and wheel guard. Cord should not
be twisted or knotted.
