Thermal sensor

A thermal sensor installs at the front of the computer near the speaker. Adhesive secures the sensor to the
chassis that houses the speaker.
To remove the thermal sensor:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the top cover
3.
Remove the hard drive
4.
If your model is an EliteDesk 800 or MP9, remove the secondary fan

Remove the drive cage
6.
Disconnect the thermal module from the system board (1).
7.
Pull to disengage the sensor to the computer chassis (2). The sensor is secured to the chassis with
adhesive.
To install the thermal sensor, reverse the removal procedures.
