DOWNLOAD OF THE FIRMWARE

Outline
Download the firmware to the ROM of the projector by the
program.

Operating conditions

® ®
Microsoft Windows XP/Vista shall operate correctly. (Older
®
versions of Windows are not supported.)
A display device supporting VGA (640 x 480) or above is re-
quired.
Necessary fi les
The following fi les are necessary to run the program.
• Data folder : Firmware data
Model
HC9000D/HC9000DW
• [Docklight_Scripting] folder
: RS-232C automatic control program
• [Updater_1_00_00_0731] folder: Update program
• [UpdateFW.ptp] : RS-232C automatic control data
• [Reon_******_*.brec]: Firmware data
Necessary parts
Following items are necessary for downloading the fi rmware.
- PC (equipped with USB/Type A connector and SERIAL/D-
sub 9-pin connector)
- RS-232C cable
Crossover cable (D-sub 9-pin - D-sub 9-pin)
- USB cable (Type A - Mini B)
- Philips screwdriver
Preparation for download
1. Copy the data folder to the PC.
Install "Docklight_Scripting"
2. Double-click "Setup.exe" in the "Docklight_Scripting" folder.
3. The setup wizard starts. Click "Next" to continue the instal-
lation.
4. In the next window, click Install to start the installation.
Data folder name
HC9000Dv***
(*** indicates the version.)
(******_*: Version number)

5. Click Finish to fi nish the installation. (A Docklight_Scripting
shortcut icon appears on the desktop.)
Install "Updater"
6. Move the "Updater_1_00_00_0731" folder from the data
folder directly to the C drive.
7. Double-click "Setup.exe" in the "Updater_1_00_00_0731"
folder.
8. The setup program starts. Click "Next" to continue the in-
stallation.
