4 Change the compatibility setting to Basic(for VoIP).
You may be able to send and receive faxes by lowering the connection speed.
Press Menu, 2, 0, 1.
Press
or
to choose Basic(for VoIP).
Press OK.
Press Stop/Exit.
NOTE
Fuji Xerox does not recommend the use of a VoIP line. VoIP limitations in general can cause
some functions of the fax machine not to work correctly.
If the problem is still not resolved after trying all of the above, turn the machine off, and then turn
it on.

If you have a delicated fax line and want your Fuji Xerox machine to automatically
answer all incoming faxes, you should choose Fax Auto.
This product will print a Transmission Verification report. Even if the Transmission
Verification report is set to Off, a report is printed when there is a communication
error.
If the Journal Period is set to Off, Fax Journal are not printed.
Press Stop/Exit to cancel the fax, or press Menu 2, 7 to cancel the remaining
jobs.
Try changing your resolution to Fine or S.Fine, or clean the scanner.
Make sure you are loading the document correctly. The document should be face
down when using the ADF or the scanner glass. See Loading documents
on page 44.
Black vertical lines on faxes you send are typically caused by dirt or correction
fluid on the glass strip. See Clean the inside of the machine. on page 74.
