The names of terminals and the checking items to be performed are shown as follows.     SECTION 4 TEST MODE MD SECTION Note: MD always plays double speed. 1. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE OF TEST MODE • As loading related operations will be performed regardless of the test mode operations being performed, be sure to check that the disc is stopped before setting and removing it.

    5. SELECTING THE TEST MODE There are 26 types of test modes as shown below. The groups can be switched by turning the (MD) knob. After selecting [YES] the group to be used, press the button. After setting a certain group, turn the (MD) knob switches between these modes.

To perform this test mode, the laser power must first be checked. Perform AUTO CHECK after the laser power check and Iop check. Procedure: [YES] 1.
