Receiving a Text Message
When you receive a text message, your phone
displays X (message waiting indicator) and a
New Message

If reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder
at regular intervals until you close the new message
notification, read the message, or turn off your phone.
When your phone displays Memory is Full! , delete some
existing messages from your inbox, outbox, or drafts folder
to receive new messages.
After you read a message:

Reply
Delete
Call Back
Chat
Forward
notification, and sounds an alert.
To
open the message
To
access the Message menu
Description
Reply to the message.
Delete the message.
Call the number that sends
the message.
Invite the sender to join a
chat (see page 65).
Forward the message to
another number.
