Troubleshooting

Check these questions first if your phone does not seem to
work properly. If you need additional help, contact the
Motorola Customer Call Center at 1-800-331-6456 (USA)
or 1-800-461-4575 (Canada).

Answer
The battery level indicator should
have at least 1 segment showing
(1). If it does not, recharge your
battery (see page 19).
If necessary, turn off your phone
and make sure that you have
inserted a valid SIM card (see
page 18).
The signal strength indicator
should have at least 1 segment
showing (1). If it does not, move
to an area with a stronger signal.
While on a call, press the volume
key (on the side of your phone)
up.
Your phone may be muted. If
necessary, press UNMUTE (
unmute the phone.
Also, make sure that your phone's
microphone is not blocked by its
carrying case or a sticker.
