Emergency Service

Note: Emergency service numbers vary by country.
To make an emergency call in any country:
Ensure that your handset is turned on and in service.
Press the End Key as many times as needed to return to the home
screen.
Enter the local emergency number for your current location (for
example, 911).
Press the Send Key to dial the number. Follow the instructions you
receive and do not end the call until told to do so.
When the SIM card is not inserted or when the Phone Lock function is
activated and you do not know the password, press the Left Soft Key for
SOS and enter the emergency number for your location. Press the Send
Key to dial the number.
Notes:
• Tell the operator which service you require: Police, Fire, or Ambulance.
Tell them where you are and remain stationary to maintain contact if
possible.
• Due to the nature of the cellular system, emergency calls cannot be
guaranteed. You should never rely solely on any wireless device in
emergency situations.

HAC Mode

When HAC mode is active, your phone sends the audio signals from your
phone to the telecoil rather than to the microphone of your hearing aid.
The HAC setting only improves the quality of sound transmitted through
the earpiece; it does not affect the speakerphone or a headset.
• It is recommended that you disable Bluetooth functionality when HAC
mode is in use.
• HAC mode consumes additional battery power. Pay close attention to
the battery's charge level when using HAC mode.
Caution: Do not turn on the HAC setting unless you use a hearing aid with
a telecoil. Using this setting without a hearing aid or with a hearing aid
without a telecoil may be harmful to your hearing.
