General Text Entry Rules

Press a number key
to enter text at
flashing cursor
location.
Press a number key
as many times as
necessary to enter
the desired
character.
Press and hold a
number key to cycle
between tap method
and numeric text
entry mode.
• If you do not press a key for two seconds, the character in the block
cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves to the next position.
• The first character of each sentence is capitalized unless you
manually change it. (Press
to upper or lower case while it is highlighted.)
