Making and Answering Calls

This section summarizes the most basic calling features. For more
features, see "Calling Features" on page 49.
Making a Call
There is a built-in antenna in the top of your phone.
Do not block the antenna while you are on a call.
To call a number, your phone must:
• be turned on and unlocked
• have a SIM card inserted and unlocked
• have a network connection with adequate signal strength
To Make a Call
1 Enter the number with the keypad keys (up to 40 digits)
Note: If you make a mistake, press
the last digit, or press and hold
digits.
2 Press N (send key) to make the call
3 Press O (end key) when the call is done.
Note: You can make an emergency call even when the phone is locked, or
when a SIM card is not inserted. See "Dialing an Emergency Number" on
page 50.
