Status indicators

The system status indicators show the current computer
status in different colors (green or orange):

1 Battery
2 Standby status Green:The computer is in standby mode.
3 Drive in use
4 Num lock
5 Caps lock
6 Scroll lock
7 Power on
The following table shows the test for each FRU.

Meaning
Green:The battery is fully charged.
Blinking green: The battery has enough
power to operate but is charging.
Orange: The battery power is low. The
battery is charging.
Blinking orange: The battery needs
charging.
Blinking green: The computer is entering
standby mode or hibernation mode, or is
resuming normal operation.
Green:Data is read from or written to the
hard disk drive, diskette drive, or drive in the
Ultrabay 2000.
Green:The numeric keypad on the keyboard
is enabled.
Green:Caps Lock mode is enabled.
Green:Arrow keys can be used as
screen-scroll function keys.
Green:The power is on.
