BEARING REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

Tools required:
Philips
screwdriver
Hex key (4mm)
Bearing puller
C-Clip pliers
Wood-hammer
Crank extractor
Coin
Open-end
wrench
(14&17 mm)
Procedure:

4. With the C -Clip Pliers remove the C-clip and then
using the Bearing Puller remove the B
Housing.
If the Ball Bearing failed, replace it.
1. Loosen the screws from
the side covers with the
screwdriver then remove

cover with the
screwdriver, then remo
footpad, guard and side
cover.
2. Loosen the POLY-V belts
500/440J8 & 400/380J
and the fit-in screw of
idler spring (The spring
replacement is dangerous.
Take special cautions
during the opera tion so
you will not damage both
you and other parts)
3. Using the hex key (4mm)
to loose n screws holding
the bearing housing to the
earing
