To select a new Party Host
Repeat step 3 of "Enjoying the Party
Chain" on the system which you want it
to be a new Party Host.
The current Party Host will become
Party Guest automatically. All systems
play the same music as the new Party
Host.
Notes
You can only select another system as
the new Party Host after all the systems
have completed the Party Chain
function.
Repeat the step above if the selected
system does not change as a new Party
Host after a few seconds.
To deactivate the Party Chain
On the Party Host, press PARTY CHAIN.
Note
Repeat the step above if the system does
not deactivate the Party Chain after a few
seconds.

Singing along: Karaoke

Preparing for karaoke

Turn MIC LEVEL on the subwoofer
to MIN to reduce the microphone
volume level.

Connect an optional microphone
to MIC 1 or MIC 2 jack on the
subwoofer.
Connect another optional
microphone if you want to sing in
duet.

Start playing the music and adjust
the microphone volume. Press
MIC ECHO repeatedly to adjust the
echo effect.

Start singing along with the
music.

Notes
Karaoke Mode is turned on when the
microphone is connected during
DVD/CD or USB function.
If howling occurs:
 move the microphone away from the
speakers.
 change the direction of the
microphone.
 lower the MIC LEVEL.
 press
– to reduce the volume level
or press MIC ECHO repeatedly to
adjust the echo level.
The sound from the microphone will not
be transferred to the USB device during
USB transfer.
Using Vocal Fader
You can reduce the sound of the vocal
in stereo source.
Press VOCAL FADER repeatedly to
select "V FADER ON".
To cancel Vocal Fader effect, press
VOCAL FADER repeatedly to select
"V FADER OFF".
Note
To use the Vocal Fader during DVD/CD or
USB function, be sure to turn on the
Karaoke Mode by connecting the
microphone.
Changing the key (Key
Control)
Press KEY CONTROL / to suit your
vocal range in Karaoke Mode.
Selecting the scoring mode
(Score Mode)
When Karaoke Mode is turned on, you
can use the scoring mode.
Your score is calculated from a scale of
0 to 99 by comparing your voice with
the music source.

Start playing the music.
