Intended Use The SHOPRIDER Solares is intended for indoor or outdoor use in pedestrian areas by a single individual with limited mobility up to a maximum weight of 90kg (14st). It is intended to be used by those suffering from some disability or impairment which prevents a normal level of personal mobility.

Adjustments Tiller Angle Adjustment At the bottom of the tiller stem is the red release lever. To adjust the tiller angle lift the lever away from the scooter. This will allow the tiller to be adjusted or folded away for transportation.

Turn clockwise to increase the maximum speed and anti-clockwise to decrease. Always start at a slow speed until accustomed with the characteristics of your scooter.

Your battery gauge is a guide only to the level of charge remaining in your batteries and will give its best indication while the scooter is moving. Note: Batteries recommended by SHOPRIDER MUST be used if they need to be replaced. An authorised SHOPRIDER dealer must carry out battery replacement.

Folding (Scooter to be in freewheel mode) The scooter can be easily and quickly folded for transportation and storage. No tools are required. 1. Fold the backrest down. 2. Fully support the front of the seat. Whilst supported, grip the seat post as shown below. Push the yellow lever toward the front of the scooter and at the same time pull down on the seat post sleeve.

Continued….. 3. As shown below, pull the seat release knob and gently push the seat forward into the foot area of the scooter Pull Knob 4. Next, the tiller needs to be folded down onto the back of the seat. Lift the red lever as shown in the tiller adjustment section.

Continued….. 5. Once the tiller is secure the scooter can be folded. Simply grab the handle located behind the seat post and pull upwards. The scooter will begin to fold inwards on itself. Keep pulling upwards until you hear a ‘click’. This should indicate that the scooter is now locked in the folded position.

Unfolding (Scooter to be in freewheel mode) Unfolding the scooter is as shown below. Ensure that you have sufficient space to unfold the scooter and that you stand to the side of the scooter to prevent it opening towards your feet or legs.

Driving at maximum speed and attempting sharp turns can create a situation where the product becomes unstable.
