Resetting all settings

All settings (excluding parental control setting)
in visual setup can be reset.
Select (RESET), then "RESET ALL
SETTINGS," "YES" using M/m and (ENTER).
For details on this procedure, see "Basic
operation of visual setup" on page 40.
Note
Do not power off the unit while resetting, as it takes a
few seconds to complete.

The system setup menu includes the following
categories.
• SET: General settings (page 45)
• DSPL: Display settings (page 46)
• P/M: Play mode settings (page 46)
• R/M: Receive mode settings (page 47)
• SND: Sound settings (page 47)

Basic operation of system setup

You can set items in the menu by the following
procedure.
E.g., when setting the demonstration.

Press (SYSTEM SETUP) while the unit is
off.
The system setup item appears on the main
unit.

Press M/m to select "DEMO," then
press (ENTER).
The option appears.

Press M/m to select "ON" or "OFF,"
then (ENTER).
The setting is complete.
To hide the system setup display, press
(SYSTEM SETUP).
With the main unit
Press and hold the control dial instead of pressing
(SYSTEM SETUP), rotate the control dial instead of
pressing M/m, press the control dial instead of
(ENTER).
