Included with your Iridium Extreme® PTT device is a rechargeable lithium-
ion battery.
Refer to Section 1 "Introduction and Important Safety
Information" on proper use, disposal of batteries, and other
information.
Battery Charging
Batteries may be charged and discharged many times, but eventually
they wear out. It is recommended that the battery is fully charged and
periodically charged and tested if stored for extended periods of time.
If the battery has been fully depleted and not used for an extended period
of time, it may require two charging cycles including removal/installation
of the battery to recover a fully depleted battery.
Battery installation
Locate the battery included with your Iridium Extreme® PTT device and
remove it from the cardboard packaging. The back housing of the device is
designed to accept the removable battery following these procedures.
