Raising the Deck to the Service Position

To allow for easier deck servicing the deck can be flipped up to allow access to the underneath side of the deck. Goodbye jacks
and dirty backs!™
IMPORTANT: This position is meant for servicing only. Never transport the mower with the deck in the service position. Never
allow the drive tires to rise off of the ground.
IMPORTANT: The following sequences must be followed as shown or the frame will not pivot correctly.
1 – Adjusting pin in the transport

To rotate the deck to the service position use the following
procedure:
1. Park the mower on a level ground.

• Raise the deck to the transport position and
secure in place with the deck height adjusting
pin. Figure 3-8
• Disengage the deck clutch.
