Floppy Drive Swap (Disabled)
This option allows the Drive A and B (floppy Drives) to be swapped i.e. Drive A
becomes Drive B and vice versa without physically removing the drives.
Floppy Drive Seek (Disabled)
This option tells the system to search for the floppy drive. If the system does
not detect one it will display a floppy drive error. If you know your system does
not have a floppy drive then set this to disabled to avoid error messages.
PS/2 Mouse Support (Enabled)
This option allows the BIOS to auto detect whether the PS/2 mouse is in-
stalled or not.
Primary Display (VGA/EGA)
This option configures the type of monitor attached to the computer.
Password Check (Setup)
This option enables password checking every time the system boots or when
you run the BIOS Setup. If you choose Always, a user password prompt ap-
pears every time the computer is turned on. If you choose Setup, the
password prompt appears if the BIOS is executed.
Ask HDD Password on Every Boot (Yes)
This option enables the user to set a password. Without entering the pass-
word, the computer cannot boot.
Boot To OS/2 (No)
Set this option to Enabled if running an OS/2 operating system and using
more than 64 MB of system memory on the mainboard.
CPU MicroCode Updation (Enabled)
This option enables the user to update the CPU MicroCode.
CPU Serial Number (Enabled)
This option is not for performance issue. When enabled, this allows users to
view the CPU serial number during boot-up.
L1 Cache (Enabled)
This option is used to enable or disable the CPU's L1 (primary) cache.
L2 Cache (Enabled)
This option sets the type of caching algorithm used for the L2 secondary
cache memory.
System BIOS Cacheable (Disabled)
When set to Enabled, the contents of the F0000h system memory segment
can be read from or written to cache memory. If parts of the BIOS ROM are
frequently used, these parts are copied to cache memory for faster execution.
