As a resultof both thecontrolcane and the auger drivebelt stretching
due to wear,periodicadjustmentsmay be necessary,if the auger
seemsto hesitatewhenrotating,proceedas follows:
Theupper hob in the controlhandle providesfor an adjustmentin
cane tension.Toadjust,disconnectthe end of controlcane from the
bottomhob in the controlhandleand reinsertit in the upper hob.
insert the cane from theoutsideas shownin Figure17.
