Belt Replacement
Auger Belt
Toremove andreplace yoursnowthrower'saugerbelt, proceed asfollows:
I. Toprevent s pillage, r emove all fuel fromtank byrunningengineuntil it
stops.
2. Remove t he plasticbelt cover o n the front of theenginebyremoving the two
self-tapping screws. S eeFigure 25.
3. Loosen andremove the two boltsandflat washers securing the beltguide.

4. Rollthe augerbeltoffthe enginepulley.SeeFigure 27.
5. Carefully pivotthe snowthrowerupandforwardsothat it restson theauger
housing.
6. Remove t he framecoverfrom the underside of the snowthrowerby
removing self-tappingscrews whichsecure it. SeeFigure 28.
